Spring Game Set for April 25

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - First-year coach John Bonamego will take the wraps off the Central Michigan football team when the Chippewas play their annual spring game Saturday, April 25, at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
Admission is free. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
Included in the festivities are a Kid's Club football clinic, a student obstacle course competition, and a classic car show.
In the weeks leading up to the game, Bonamego along with some of his assistant coaches and Chippewa players will visit selected residence halls, bringing pizzas to talk with students about the game and the student events.
Registration for the Kid's Club runs from 10-10:45 a.m. in the Indoor Athletic Complex turf bay. Players will be available for autographs and photos, and apparel and memorabilia will be available.
A locker room tour begins at 10:45 a.m. followed by clinic stations, which run from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided to participants of the kids clinic.
The car show is scheduled for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. around the island on the plaza in the parking lot to the north of the stadium. Classic car owners are invited to show off their proud vehicle. Car owners will also have an opportunity to win prize packages.
