Chippewas Earn Academic Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Sixteen members of the Central Michigan field hockey team were named to the 2014 Gladiator by SGI/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Collegiate National Academic Squad.
The squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher through the fall, 2014 semester.
Chippewas named to the squad: Harriet Aburn, Lily Amadio, Jordyn Brengosz, Giovanna Fasanello, Alexandra Gonda, Kaysie Gregory, Kianne Hinkle, Alicia Hutchison, Elaine Materise, Kayla McClure, Chloe McIlwaine, Taylor McKeon, Sadie Reynolds, Olivia Shagam, Maude Stalars and Olivia Wagner.
Brengosz and Hutchison are four-year recipients of the award.
