Bowl Bid Expected Sunday Afternoon

Coach John Bonamego and his Central Michigan football team will learn their bowl destination on Sunday afternoon.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan football team will find out where it is headed and who it will play on Sunday when the bowl pairings are announced.

The announcement is expected in late afternoon. Among CMU’s potential destinations is the Motor City Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit on Dec. 26; the Dollar General Bowl in Mobile, Ala. on Dec. 23; the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. on Dec. 16; and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho on Dec. 22. Other bowl games that may consider the Chippewas include the Boca Raton Bowl on Dec. 19 in Boca Raton, Fla., and the Frisco Bowl in Dallas on Dec. 20.
