Tentative Kickoff Times Set For Football Schedule

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Kickoff times and television networks have been established for seven of Central Michigan's 12 football games in the 2017 season.
The Chippewas are slated to kick off the season on Thursday, Aug. 31, at Kelly/Shorts Stadium against Football Championship Subdivision Rhode Island. The game carries a 7 p.m. scheduled start, and it will be televised by ESPN3. Game times are subject to change.
Other game times and network coverage that were released on Wednesday by the Mid-American Conference. All times Eastern.
• Saturday, Sept. 9, 4 p.m., at Kansas, Fox Sports Net
• Saturday, Sept. 16, 3:30 p.m., at Syracuse, ACC Network Extra.
• Saturday, Oct. 14, 3:30 p.m., home vs. Toledo, network to be announced.
• Saturday, Oct. 21, 3 p.m., at Ball State, network TBA.
• Wednesday, Nov. 1, 8 p.m., at Western Michigan, ESPN2
• Wednesday, Nov. 8, kickoff time TBA, Eastern Michigan, ESPN2, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network.
• Tuesday, Nov. 14, kickoff time TBA, at Kent State, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
