Field Hockey Starts Weekend At Home With MAC Rival Ohio

SETTING THE SCENE
The Central Michigan field hockey team will host Mid-American Conference foe Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 30 (1 p.m.), and then hit the road to play at Louisville on Sunday, Oct. 1 (1 p.m.).
LAST WEEKEND
CMU is 0-9, 0-1 MAC after dropping its conference opener, 4-0, against Longwood on Saturday. The Chippewas fell to VCU, 2-0, in a nonleague game on Sunday.
CMU LEADERS
Jasmine Banks leads the Chippewas with four points (one goal, two assists), while Carly Brengosz has the lead in shots with 15.

• Ohio is 2-8, 0-2 MAC. The Bobcats broke an eight-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Davidson on Sunday.
