ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Central Michigan baseball team rallied for five runs in the eighth inning, but fell a run short in its comeback bid on Saturday in game three of its four-game series with New Mexico at the Lobos' Santa Ana Star Field.
The Lobos handed the Chippewas an 8-7 loss. CMU (2-5) will look to salvage the final game of the series on Sunday (2 p.m.). Sophomore Zach Kohn will start for the Chippewas against Cody Dye.
