
Lacrosse Falls At Cincinnati

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati outshot Central Michigan, 24-19, on Friday in taking a 14-6 nonconference lacrosse win from the Chippewas at the Bearcats' Gettler Stadium.
The Chippewas (2-3) return to Mount Pleasant on Sunday, March 11, to play host to Michigan in a nonconference game. The game kicks off a seven-game home stand.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Monica Borzillo scored eight goals and added two assists to lead the Bearcats, who led 7-3 at halftime.
CMU SCORING
Shannon Doyle and Emma Hamilton scored two goals apiece for the Chippewas. Jessica Schuchardt and Anna Schoonover also scored. Tyra Prince, Doyle and Natalie Karlen each had an assist.
IN GOAL
Dominique Hamman started and went the first 43-plus minutes in goal for CMU. She surrendered 12 goals and made three saves. Clare Laughery wen the final 16:15, making four saves while allowing two goals.
