In order to be eligible for the honor squad, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 grade point average and have participated in 50 percent or more of her team's tournaments.
The Chippewas named to the squad (with year, GPA and major): Bria Colosky, junior, 3.500, exercise science/kinesiology; Natalie Johnson, senior, 3.850, biology; Kristen Wolfe, senior, 3.850, information systems; Holly Hines, senior, 3.270, exercise science; Danielle Sawyer, sophomore, 3.440, undecided.
It marks the third-consecutive year that Johnson and Wolfe have been named to the squad, and the second straight year that Colosky has.
The team comprises 38 student-athletes representing the 10 MAC institutions that sponsor women's golf. With five honorees, CMU is tied for the second most representatives on the team.
