
Eight CMU Baseball Players Earn MAC Academic Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Eight Central Michigan baseball players have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have a cumulative 3.2 grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of his team's contests. Pitchers meeting the academic requirement are considered on a case-by-case basis. Freshman and first-year transfers are not eligible.
Colton Bradley, a senior from Augusta, was named to the squad for the third consecutive year. Bradley is a general management major who carries a 3.26 grade point average.
The seven other Chippewas named to the squad with their year, hometown, GPA and major: Cam Brown, Pontiac, Ill., sophomore, 3.34, undecided; Jack Collins, Denmark, Wis., junior, 3.35, entrepreneurship; Zach Gilles, Chippewa Falls, Wis., sophomore, 3.73, undecided; Pat Leatherman, Jenison, junior, 3.23, communications; Jake Raether, Minnetrista, Minn., sophomore, 3.53, undecided; Chase Rollin, Weidman, redshirt freshman, 3.64, undecided; Ty Rollin, Weidman, junior, 3.71, biology/biomedical studies.
