Chippewa Volleyball Set To Visit Pair Of East's Best

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Central Michigan volleyball team will hit the road for a pair of Mid-American Conference games this weekend.

The Chippewas are scheduled to play at Bowling Green on Friday, Oct. 18 (6 p.m.) and then at Miami (Ohio) on Sunday, Oct. 20 (2:30 p.m.).

Where They Stand
CMU sits at 16-2 (6-0 MAC) and extended its win streak to 11 games last weekend with home wins over Ball State and Toledo. CMU overcame a 1-0 set deficit to beat Ball State, and a 2-1 set deficit to top the Rockets.

CMU holds a two-game lead over Ball State in the MAC West.

Bowling Green and Miami are among three teams, with Ohio, that are tied for second with a 4-2 league record in the MAC West. Akron (5-1 conference) is in first place.
