-MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan field hockey coach Catherine Ostoich has announced her 2020 signing class, which comprises five players who will join the Chippewas next fall.
"I am thrilled to welcome this class of five talented, hard-working student-athletes to our Central Michigan field hockey family," Ostoich said. "They all come from good programs and bring with them solid fundamentals, a desire to win, and the commitment to hold their teammates to higher standards.
"Their knowledge of the game, grit on the field and passion that they have for this sport will help challenge our team to reach new standards next season. I am excited to see the impact they will make, both on and off the field, as well as in the Central Michigan University community."
The class comprises Caroline Beairsto of Lumberton, N.J.; Kate Biglin of Bloomfield Hills; Hannah Havrilla of Blue Bell, Pa.; and Katie Maxim and Hannah Wilson, both of St. Louis.

"Katie is an aggressive keeper who has a huge presence in cage. She has great fundamentals and a loud voice. Katie will be an instrumental player in our backfield next year."
