Chippewas In The NFL

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting was credited with six tackles for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their 20-19 loss to Chicago Bears on Thursday in Chicago.

Murphy-Bunting's performance led that of six former Chippewas during Week 5 of the NFL season.

• Two former CMU standouts, Nick Bellore (Seattle Seahawks) and Tyler Conklin (Minnesota Vikings), played in the Seahawks' 27-26 victory over the Vikings in Seattle.

• Left tackle Eric Fisher made his 103^rd NFL start in the Kansas City Chiefs' 40-32 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Kansas City.

• Safety Kavon Frazier played in the Miami Dolphins' 43-17 victory over the 49ers in San Francisco.

• Running back Jonathan Ward was credited with an assisted tackle in the Arizona Cardinals' 30-10 victory over the New York Jets in East Rutherford, N.J.

• Safety Jahleel Addae is active for the Los Angeles Chargers' game tonight at New Orleans.

• Three other former Chippewas remain on the practice squads of their respective teams. They are quarterback Cooper Rush (New York Giants), defensive lineman Joe Ostman (Philadelphia Eagles), and defensive back Xavier Crawford (Chicago Bears).
