Sensational Six Sign With CMU Softball

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan softball coach McCall Salmon announced on Thursday her 2021 signing class comprising six Chippewas-to-be.
"Excited to welcome these six student-athletes to the CMU Softball family," said Salmon, who is in her second year in charge of the program. "I look forward to the immediate impact they will have on our program.
"This group is tough, competitive and will bring added speed, athleticism, and power to Chippewa Softball."
Five of the six signees hail from the state of Michigan and the sixth is from Lemont, Ill.
Kylie Gould • 1B/UTL • Holton, Mich. • Holton HS
Two-year varsity letterwinner (freshman and sophomore seasons) … posted a career batting average of .526 … hit a Holton HS career record 17 home runs in two seasons … selected first team all-state (2018-19) … honored on MLive Muskegon Chronicle Dream Team as a utility player (2018-19) … helped HHS to a Division 4 state quarterfinal appearance (2018-19) … named all-conference as a freshman and sophomore … selected all-state honorable mention for 2017-18 season … also received three letters in volleyball, two in bowling and one in basketball … played travel ball with Top Prospects.
