Chippewas celebrate Senior Day on Saturday
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Appalachian State outshot Central Michigan, 10-7, in handing the Chippewas a 3-1 Mid-American Conference field hockey loss on Friday at Cristy Freese Field.
The Chippewas and Mountaineers, 7-7, 3-4, are scheduled to conclude their weekend series on Saturday (noon). It is the season finale for CMU and it will serve as the Chippewas' Senior Day. The game will not count in the MAC standings. Senior Day events are scheduled to begin at 11:40 a.m.
Bobbi Marie Parker scored CMU's goal in Friday's loss. Katie Maxim made four saves in goal for the Chippewas.
