13 CMU Football Players Garner All-America, All-MAC Honors From Phil Steele

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Thirteen Central Michigan football players earned a spot on the Phil Steele All-Mid-American Conference Team.
Offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann was named to Steele's All-MAC First Team and received All-America honorable mention from Steele.
Chippewa running back Lew Nichols III was also named to the first team offense and earned a spot on Steele's All-America Fourth Team.
CMU's Kalil Pimpleton was named to Steele's All-MAC First Team at two positions, wide receiver and punt returner.
CMU linebacker Troy Brown was named to the first team defense, while three other Chippewas were named to Steele's second team: tackle Luke Goedeke on offense and end Troy Hairston II and safety Devonni Reed on defense.
CMU wide receivers JaCorey Sullivan and Dallas Dixon were named to the third and fourth team offense, respectively.
Defensive end Amir Siddiq and cornerback Donte Kent each earned a spot on the fourth team defense.
Two Chippewa specialists, punter Luke Elzinga and long snapper Franklin Lama, were named to the third team.
