Field Hockey Adds International Player

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan field hockey head coach Catherine Ostrich has announced the addition of Alice Lamb to the Chippewas' roster.

"We are thrilled to welcome Alice to the Chippewa field hockey family," said Ostoich. "Her strong skill set, passion for the game and unwavering work ethic will push this team to new standards. We look forward to seeing Alice leave her mark on this program these next four years!"

Lamb, a midfielder from Tavistock, Devon, England, played with Isca Hockey Club and the University of Exeter first team in the National League from 2019-21. She represented Isca in the U18 club finals in 2021 and won a U18 club National Plate championship in 2020. Also in 2020, Lamb won a U18 school National Plate silver with Blundell's School, scoring a match-high four goals in the final.

Internationally, in 2019, Lamb represented the U17 Wessex Leopards England's Futures Cup, playing games against the U18 Welsh team and the U18 Scottish Team.
