Lukes Named To Hornung Honor Roll

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Marion Lukes was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for his outstanding performance in the Chippewas' 28-21 victory at Akron.
Lukes, a sophomore from Charlestown, Ind., scored three touchdowns in the game and amassed 249 all-purpose yards. He rushed for 160 yards on 26 carries, caught four passes for 71 yards, and returned one kick for 18 yards.
Lukes' name now goes on the ballot for the 2022 Paul Hornung Award, which is presented by the Louisville Sports Commission. The award is named in honor of Hornung, one of the most versatile players of all time who won four NFL championships and the first Super Bowl.
