Central Michigan track & field student-athletes posted 22 top-10 finishes at three meets over the weekend.Â

CMU's Emily Paupore posted a second-place finish in the 5000-meter race at the Davenport Invitational at Davenport University; Anya Turner finished second in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Louisville Clark Wood Invitational; and Natalie Newcombe, posted a fourth-place finish in the 1500-meter run at the Western Michigan Jack Shaw Invitational.

No team scores were kept at the Clark Wood Invitational or the Jack Shaw Invitational. Scores were kept at the Davenport Invitational, however only five Chippewas competed, all in the 5000-meter run.Â

Paupore, a redshirt freshman, finished in 16:55.95, while Turner clocked in at 11:14.28. Newcombe, a redshirt freshman, finished in 4:40.12.Â

CMU's 4x100-meter relay team also finished third at Louisville. Jericha Petrella, Taylor Korytkowski, Peyton Korytkowski and Olivia Hankey combined to finish in 46.03 seconds.Â

Hayley Manners, a redshirt sophomore, finished fourth in the triple jump at 11.83 meters and fifth in the long jump at 5.88 meters at Louisville.Â

Petrella, a redshirt freshman, posted a third-place finish at Louisville in the 400-meter dash at 54.93, while Taylor Korytkowski finished fifth.Â

Aliyah Boeve, a redshirt freshman, finished sixth in the discus at 45.49 meters; she also placed eighth in the hammer throw.Â

Hankey, a redshirt junior, finished fifth in the high jump at 1.56 meters, and also finished 10th in the javelin.Â

Other CMU top-10 finishes at Louisville: Taylor Korytkowski, seventh, 200-meter dash, 24.57; Hankey, sixth, 400-meter hurdles, 1:02.46; Nyah Tyron, ninth, 400-meter hurdles, 1:04.58; Madi Mandelke, ninth, 800-meter dash, 2:13.73; Lauren Lasceski, fourth, 3000-meter steeplechase, 12:01.89; Annie Bennett, seventh, 3000-meter run, 11:45.17; Mohogany Wells, fifth, hammer throw, 53.09 meters; Tricia Pierce, sixth, pole vault, 3.76 meters; Shelby Korytkowski, ninth, pole vault, 3.41 meters.Â
