Field Hockey Falls At Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Lock Haven scored both of its goals in the fourth quarter on Sunday in handing Central Michigan a 2-1 loss in a nonconference field hockey game at the Bald Eagles' Charlotte E. Smith Field.
The Chippewas (1-5) entertain Bellarmine (0-5) on Friday, Sept. 16 (2 p.m.) in their Mid-American Conference opener.
Amelia Lane scored the Chippewas' goal off an Alice O'Hagan assist in the 25thminute. It was the first career goal for Lane, a freshman from Worcester, United Kingdom.
Lock Haven finished with a 23-1 advantage in shots and a 14-1 edge in penalty corners.
CMU goalkeeper Maja Halasz made 15 saves.
