Stuart Named a William V. Campbell Award Semifinal

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan defensive tackle Robi Stuart has been named a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which goes annually to the nation's top football scholar-athlete and is awarded by National Football Foundation.
Stuart, a senior from Saginaw, has made seven tackles this season including four solos.
If Stuart is named an award semifinalist, he will receive an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship and will travel to Las Vegas for the NFF annual awards dinner to meet the 2022 class of College Football Hall of Fame inductees.
Stuart is a two-time All-MAC selection and a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree. He holds a bachelor of science degree with a major in neuroscience and a minor in psychology. He is pursuing a master's degree in neuroscience.
In 2021, Stuart received the Michael R. Sadler Division I Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award, given by the National Football Foundation-Michigan Chapter. The award is named in honor of the late Michigan State punter, a four-time Academic All-American who was killed in a car accident in 2016.
