Volleyball to Host Annual Autism Acceptance Game

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan volleyball will host their annual Autism Acceptance game as the Chippewas take on Northern Illinois on October 21 at 4 p.m. at McGuirk Arena. The game will be a "Gold Out" and all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear gold to match the team.
The game will have features such as limited buzzers and whistles in game, ear protection if needed, as well as active and quiet sensory rooms during the game for those who potentially need a break. Special Olympics, The Autism Spectrum Club, and Student Disability Services will all be present with tables to provide information.
There will be an autograph signing session after the game where fans can meet athletes and collect signatures.
