Chippewas Fall in Season Finale

RICHMOND, Va— Central Michigan Field Hockey dropped its final game of the 2023 season Sunday afternoon at Virginia Commonwealth 6-1.

The Chippewas loan goal came from freshman Pauline Klep, assisted by Cosima Perleth and Shannon Dwyer her first collegiate goal. The goal was Kleps first as a Chippewa. Klep and Perleth have combined for four points in their last two outings.Â

Coletta Beeler and Katie Maxim each took reps in the cage. Beeler played the majority of the game tallying six saves on the day. Maxim then relieved her with just over eight minutes of game time and collected three saves.
