Coach Mac Radio Show To Air Tonight at 7 p.m.

The ninth weekly radio show of the season will air live tonight from Soaring Eagle’s Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at 7 p.m.; all fans are invited.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—The Coach Mac Radio Show on the Central Michigan Sports Properties Radio Network—presented by Fabiano Brothers—is back for its ninth show of the 2023 season on Thursday, November 2 at 7 p.m. at the Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle.
Invited guests for Thursday night's show include Central Michigan junior running back Sam Hicks and redshirt sophomore defensive back Nahree Biggins. Hicks scored on a 16-yard run in Tuesday's 37-31 victory over Northern Illinois and rushed 10 times for 52 yards on the year, while Biggins registered the game-sealing interception in the closing minutes of his first start of his career.
The hour-long show takes place at Ascend Sports Bar & Lounge at Soaring Eagle Casino (located at the back of the main floor). The show generally takes place on Thursdays or two days prior to game day at 7 p.m. ET. Admission is free for all. Fans who are unable to make it out to see the show in-person can listen live on WUPS 98.5-FM, through the CMU Athletics app and also the Varsity Network at this link.
Hosted by Voice of the Chippewas Adam Jaksa and Chippewa Sports Network radio color commentator Brock Gutierrez, CMU Head Coach Jim McElwain breaks down the weekly opponent and takes a look at the Chippewas' performance in their previous game. Each week, Central Michigan coaches and student-athletes attend as live guests. Fans also get a chance to ask Coach Mac questions about the program as it prepares for the 2023 Victory Cannon Game at Western Michigan on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
