MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan-Michigan State nonconference wrestling dual meet at McGuirk Arena is on as scheduled for Friday, Feb. 17 (7 p.m.).
Michigan State had postponed all athletic activity through today, Thursday, in the wake of the on-campus shooting in which three students died and five were injured on Monday.
Friday's dual is Central Michigan's last at home this season and the Chippewas will celebrate Senior Night in honor of four student-athletes, Mason Breece, Ben Cushman, Cade Dallwitz and Alex Jacobs.
The Chippewas close the regular season with a nonconference dual at Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 19 (5 p.m.), and then are slated to partake in the Mid-American Conference Championships in Fairfax, Va., March 3-4.
