"It was definitely mission accomplished as far as getting outdoor season rolling and we had some big performances," CMU Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Jenny Swieton said. "We talked about how we felt like we did a really good job at the MAC Indoor Championships; so as a team we wanted to keep the ball rolling into outdoor and I think that we did that."

"Those performances combined with a lot of personal records ended up making it a really good weekend for us," Swieton said. "I'm really excited with how the season started and I am looking forward to where it goes from here.
"Hopefully, we can bring some of the sunny weather home with us but that is to be determined."
