Lacrosse Falls at Towson

TOWSON, Md. – The Central Michigan Lacrosee team dropped a 17-10 decision to Towson Tigers during the first game of its spring break road trip. CMU falls to 1-4 on the season while Towson moves to 4-2.
Next, Central Michigan will travel to Pittsburgh, Pa. where it will take on Duquesne. That game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7 at 4 p.m. (ET).
In the outing, five Chippewas players scored their 10 goals. Maggie Diebold recorded four goals on the day, Audrey Whiteside added two, along with Kendall Hoyt, Kelly Hoyt, and Hailie Moore, who eacn scored one apiece for CMU. Whiteside also recorded three assists in the game for the Chippewas.
Goalkeeper Alexa Martel played all 60 minutes of the game, recording 11 saves.
Towson took a 9-0 lead before Central Michigan's Whiteside scored in the second quarter.
