BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Arie Jackman closed with a 4-over 75 on Sunday to lead the Central Michigan men's golf team during the final round of the Hoosier Collegiate on Indiana University's Pfau Course.

The Chippewas' Philippe Yturralde and Ethan Jaehn both shot 77 on Sunday, while Orlando Coons and Easton Phillips both shot 81.

CMU's Jeffrey Andrus, playing as an individual, shot 82.

Yturralde finished with a 54-hole 232 total to tie for 45th place in the 78-player field.

Jaehn and Jackman both finished at 234 to finish among a group tied for 53^rd, while Coons with a 238 total and Andrus finished at 241.

Chattanooga, which is ranked 49^th nationally, posted a final-round 286 to finish with an 870 total and a nine-shot victory over host Indiana (288 – 879). Valparaiso (293 – 889) was third.

Jay Nimmo of Murray State shot 2-under 69 to finish with a 2-under 211 total to claim medalist honors by two shots over Indiana's Thomas Hursey.

The Chippewas are scheduled to play in the Penn State Rutherford Intercollegiate in University Park, Pa. next weekend. It is their final tournament before the April 30-May 2 Mid-American Conference Championships in Athens, Ala.
