Allyssa Hollo Named to the 2024 MAC All-Tournament Team

Hollo earns postseason honor for the second straight year with an impressive offensive performance.
AKRON, Ohio -- Allyssa Hollo was named to the 2024 Mid-American Conference All-Tournament Team for the second straight year. The junior from South Lyon, Mich. earns the honor after an offensively impressive weekend for the Chippewas.Â
In the two games for CMU in their first day, Hollo homered in each game - her sixth and seventh of the season. In game three against Ball State, Hollo charted her 11th double of th season.Â
Hollo hit .261 in the three games, charting four RBI, with four hits, scored three times, and recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 25 putouts at first base.Â
In the 2024 season, Hollo hit .261, charted 24 RBI, drew 10 walks, and 18 of her 35 hits were for extra bases with her season ending with a .500 slugging percentage.Â
The infielder will return in 2025 for her senior season with the Maroon & Gold.Â
