Volleyball Drops Finale at Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational

CMU (9-3) opens MAC play next weekend at Miami (Ohio)
PITTSBURGH – The Central Michigan volleyball team fell in four sets on Saturday to Robert Morris in the Chippewas' finale of the Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational.
The loss ended a two-match win streak. The Chippewas (9-3) open Mid-American Conference play with two matches at Miami (Ohio) on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 26-27.
The Colonials collected eight aces in defeating the Chippewas, 25-17, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18 on Saturday.
Abby Olin and Natalia Rejment led CMU with 15 kills apiece, while Allie Korba had 22 assists and Keelyn Muell added 21. Hannah Langton led CMU on the back line with 23 digs.
CMU finished with a .248 attack percentage to Robert Morris' .308.
The Chippewas opened the tournament on Friday with victories over Canisius and Duquesne.
Olin and Langton were named to the all-tournament team. Olin finished with 32 kills in the three matches, while Langton had 53 digs.
