Homecoming Game Against Ohio to Kickoff at 4 p.m. ET

Next Saturday’s Central Michigan Homecoming football game against Ohio (Oct. 12) at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium is scheduled to kickoff at 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Central Michigan's 2024 Homecoming football game against Ohio scheduled for Saturday, October 12 at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium is scheduled to kickoff at 4 p.m., the Mid-American Conference announced on Monday afternoon. The game will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
Central Michigan (3-2, 1-0 MAC) enters an off week following a thrilling 22-21 come-from-behind victory over San Diego State in its final non-conference game on Saturday. Tristan Mattson converted a 46-yard field goal in the game's final five seconds to give the Chippewas victory. Ohio (3-2, 1-0 MAC), enters the game with the exact same record.
In a yearly tradition which began on Nov. 22, 1924, Central Michigan will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its first Homecoming Game. The Chippewas will celebrate this historical day by recognizing the 50th year anniversary of the 1974 football national championship. The 1974 team will host a reunion and will be recognized as the Homecoming Grand Marshals. Additional details will be announced in the coming week. CMU will also recognize the 15 and 45-year MAC Championship anniversaries. Door giveaways include koozies and "Beat Ohio" buttons. On Saturday morning, Central Michigan will host its annual Homecoming parade. Stay tuned for more details.
