Five-Meet Home Schedule Packed with Family-Friendly Fun
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Gymnastics has revealed its promotional schedule for the 2025 season, filling the Chippewas' home meets to the brim with theme days, giveaways and family friendly fun.
Each of CMU's five home gymnastics meets provides fans with an enriching and memorable experience for all, including an action-packed gymnastics and wrestling combination event and the return of the Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Championships to McGuirk Arena.
A complete list of themed home events is below. All events and offerings are subject to change.
YOUTH DAY – vs. West Virginia (Jan. 12 – 1 p.m.)
Enjoy a Sunday afternoon out of the house and cheer on CMU in its home opener on Jan. 12! Check in at Fan Central and receive 2x Maroon & Gold Rewards Points (students, just in time to get those Toilet Paper Toss tickets!). Young CMU fans can visit the professional face painter on the concourse from 12-2p.m. While supplies last, fans will receive CMU Gymnastics wristbands and CMU-themed hair scrunchies! After the meet, CMU gymnasts will sign autographs in the Kulhavi Atrium.
RUMBLE & TUMBLE – vs. Bowling Green (Jan. 17 – 7 p.m.)
It's the ultimate showdown on Jan. 17 as Chippewa Gymnastics takes on MAC foe Bowling Green and Chippewa Wrestling battles Northern Illinois – at the same time! For the first time in 12 years, the Rumble & Tumble returns to McGuirk Arena for an evening of beauty and brawls. Fans checking in with the app can earn 2x Maroon & Gold Rewards points and can pick up a two-sided "10" and "3" card at Fan Central. Seats are limited- get your tickets now!
GIRLS & WOMEN IN SPORTS / PINK OUT – vs. UW-Oshkosh & SEMO (Feb. 6 – 6 p.m.)
Feb. 6 may be a Thursday, but we're going to wear pink anyways! Put on your favorite pink outfit and fill the stands as we continue to celebrate Girls & Women in Sports Day. Fans will receive pink pom-poms and pink "10" cards, and while supplies last, can pick up brand-new CMU-themed specialty posters! Student-athletes from each of CMU's women's teams will be signing post-game autographs for fans.
MAROON OUT / ALUMNI NIGHT – vs. Eastern Michigan (Jan. 14 – 6 p.m.)
Celebrate Valentine's Day wearing Central Michigan's shade of love: Maroon! Pack McGuirk Arena with a sea of maroon t-shirts and pom poms! While supplies last, fans will receive CMU-themed Valentine's Day cards and a lollipop and can decorate their own Valentine's Day cards at Fan Central! Join us in celebrating our CMU gymnastics alumni with an on-floor recognition during the meet.
SENIOR NIGHT – vs. Northern Illinois (March 14 – 6 p.m.)
Join the program in honoring their six graduating seniors and celebrate National Reading Month on March 14! Fans will receive two-sided "10" cards with senior gymnasts on the back and can pick up a CMU-themed bookmark at Fan Central. The team will celebrate their seniors at the conclusion of the meet. Guests are encouraged to bring new and gently used children's books to be donated to elementary schools in the Mount Pleasant area.
MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS – March 22 – 2 p.m.
Fans of all MAC affiliations can join the fun on March 22 as the Chippewas host the 2025 Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Championships in McGuirk Arena! While supplies last, guests will receive MAC-branded "10" cards and pom poms themed to their favorite team!
