Four Chippewas Earn All-MAC Field Hockey Honors

Mallory Camryn named first-team; Carolena Ryon, Ashley Cogger named second-team; Mora Rulli named all-freshman
CLEVELAND – Four Central Michigan Field Hockey players received All-Mid-American Conference recognition in the league's announcement, Tuesday, Nov. 4. Mallory Camryn (Ontario, Canada/Saltfleet District High) was named First-Team; Carolena Ryon and Ashley Cogger earned Second-Team; and Mora Rulli earned All-Freshman Honors.
First-teamer Camryn scored 18 goals in the regular season, the most by a Chippewa since 1985. With five assists, she brought her point total to 45, fourth most in the conference. She logged two hat-tricks, paving the way for a National Offensive Player of the Week award, and three MAC Offensive Player of the Week awards.
Camryn marked 50 career goals in the final weekend of the regular season with a goal less than four minutes into the Chippewas' 3-2 win over Bellarmine. Tuesday's announcement marks Camryn's second First-Team All-MAC recognition, she earned her first in 2024 after a 10 goal, four assist campaign.
Ryon earned her second straight All-MAC honor, her first coming in 2024 when she was named to the All-Freshman team. Ryon logged 10 goals, four coming as game winners, and one assist in 2025. Her four winners tie her for second most in the conference. She earned her first career Offensive Player of the Week award after her second hat-trick of the season in a 5-3 win at Longwood (Oct. 24).
Cogger, named to the second team, tallied 139 saves, second most in the conference, and averaged 7.78 per game, seventh most in the nation. She stood eighth in the nation in save percentage, maintaining 78.2%. Cogger was credited with 10 wins on the season, the most by a single Chippewa keeper since at least 2006. She logged one shutout in 2025, a 4-0 showing over Mercyhurst, her first game in Mount Pleasant.
Rulli, an every-game starter, marks the fourth straight season a Chippewa has been named to the All-Freshman team. She led the Chippewas and tied sixth in-conference with nine assists on the season. Additionally, Rulli ranked third on the team with 17 points, and fourth on the team with four goals.
The Chippewas have not had at least four players named to all-conference since 2014.
