Field Hockey Begins 2026 Campaign With Three Game Trip to California

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — First-year Chippewa Head Coach Kelly Terwilliger will lead her team out west to the Golden State for three games to kick off the 2026 season.
The Chippewas will begin their season at UC Davis, taking on the Aggies Aug. 28 for the ninth time in program history. The Chippewas and Aggies will take the field at 4 p.m. ET, 1 p.m. PT.
On Sunday, Aug. 30, Terwilliger will lead her team to Berkeley, where the Chippewas will battle the California Golden Bears for the fourth time at 4 p.m. ET, 1 p.m. PT.
To close out opening weekend festivities, the Chippewas will head across San Francisco Bay for a date with Stanford on Monday, Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. ET, 12 p.m. PT.
All games will be available for streaming; Friday's game against the Aggies will be live-streamed on the UC Aggies YouTube channel while Cal and Stanford will be streaming on ACCNX on ESPN+.
