Chippewa Lacrosse slated to have themed giveaways or offerings at all five remaining home games in 2025
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Lacrosse has four themed home contests, with giveaways slated for all five remaining home games of the 2025 regular season. All offerings are subject to change:

PLAY FOR PATRICK/ALUMNI DAY: March 2 vs. Cincinnati
An annual event for Chippewa Lacrosse, Central Michigan will battle the Bearcats in support of the Patrick Schoonover Heart Foundation. Founded by the family of CMU alumna Anna Schoonover '19, Play For Patrick aims to raise awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in young athletes. Information on the foundation and how to contribute will be offered, along with Play For Patrick wristbands. The event will serve the dual purpose of inviting the program's alumnae back to campus for a halftime recognition.

MORGAN'S MESSAGE: March 16 vs. Kent State
Another annual staple on the CMU Lacrosse schedule, the Chippewas host Kent State under the Morgan's Message banner. Morgan's Message aims to raise awareness of mental health struggles in youth and student-athletes, in the memory of Morgan Rodgers, former women's lacrosse player at Duke. Information on Morgan's Message and how to support will be offered at the game.

PRIDE GAME: March 30 vs. Eastern Michigan
A new theme for Chippewa Lacrosse, CMU will play for PRIDE and support of the LGBTQ+ community when it hosts Eastern Michigan. Local community representatives will be invited to table at the CMU Lacrosse Complex during the game. Fans will receive Fire Up Chips PRIDE buttons while supplies last.

SENIOR DAY: April 13 vs. Youngstown State
Students will be given pom poms, while supplies last, so they can help recognize 11 CMU Lacrosse seniors ahead of its battle with the Penguins. The Chippewa seniors—Jozy Allen, Skye DePrado, Celia Dow, Jane Durkin, Sadie Hinkle, Alyssa Lowe, Alexa Martel, Reagan Martinsen, Maggie Merrill, Emma Potter and Hanna Wenger—will be recognized on the field prior to introductions.

April 16 vs. Butler
The midweek, mid-afternoon bout with the Bulldogs will feature student food giveaways, pending weather, while supplies last.
