Five Chippewas Earn Academic All-MAC Wrestling Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Five Central Michigan wrestlers have earned a spot on the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team for the 2024-25 season.

The five Chippewas named to the squad with their academic standing, major, and grade point average: Chandler Amaker, redshirt junior, sociology/criminal justice, 3.22; Luke Cochran, redshirt freshman, exercise science, 3.63; Adrien Cramer, redshirt junior, information systems, 3.36; Alex Cramer, graduate student, computer science, 3.93; Sean Spidle, redshirt junior, master's of business administration, 3.66.

It marks the third time that Alex Cramer and Spidle have earned a spot on the prestigious squad.

In order to be eligible for the MAC All-Academic Team, a wrestler must carry a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of his team's scheduled dual meets and tournaments.

First-year student-athletes and transfers in his first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
