Wrestling Promotions Schedule Unveiled

Youth Night, Gold Out, T-Shirt Giveaway, Senior Celebration on tap
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. βΒ The Central Michigan wrestlingΒ promotional schedule, featuring themes and giveaways, has been released for the 2025-26 season.Β

The ChippewasΒ hostΒ fourΒ home dual meets in January and February:Β Friday, Jan. 30 vs. Ohio; Sunday, Feb. 1 vs. Buffalo; Sunday, Feb. 15 vs. George Mason; Sunday, Feb 22 vs. Michigan.Β

All season,Β fans can visit Fan Central in the Events Center atrium to stock up onΒ 2025-26 CMU sport schedule posters and exclusive meet-day giveaways. A kids' zone, located on the north concourse and featuring a coloring station and small giveaway items, is available during all home duals.Β Plus, during the five-minute intermission during the meets, t-shirts will be tossed to the loudest fans!Β

Fans age 12 and under are encouraged toΒ participateΒ in a pre-meet high-five tunnel as the Chippewas take the mat for introductionsΒ ahead of their dual with Mid-American Conference foe Ohio. Kids can stop by Fan Central for a maroon boomΒ stick and enter a raffle for a free prize.Β CMU wrestlers will be available in the Events Center atrium for a post-meet autograph session.Β

GOLD OUT βΒ Sunday, Feb. 1,Β 2 p.m.
As the ChippewasΒ battle Buffalo,Β fans are encouraged to wear gold andΒ stop by Fan Central toΒ receive gold 3-point takedown foam fingers andΒ signs (while supplies last).

Bring the energy and snag aΒ free t-shirt as theΒ Chippewas square off against George Mason,Β which finished first in the conference preseason poll.Β 3-point takedown cards will also be available at Fan Central.Β

Central Michigan's senior class will be honoredΒ inΒ a ceremony on the mat prior to the meet.Β In addition,Β fans will receive special senior 3-point takedown cards and a rally towelΒ as the Wolverines come to town.Β
