MUNCIE, Ind. – Hanging tough, getting it around, and posting a score.
Not an easy trick on a blustery day under the pressure of a league championship tournament.
Hailey Katona and Rachel Niskanen both shot 3-over 75 on Monday to lead the Central Michigan women's golf team during the second round of the Mid-American Conference Championship at Delaware Country Club.
Katona and Niskanen led the Chippewas to a 308 team total as CMU jumped three spots and into a fifth-place tie with Ohio in the 10-team field at 613.
