DePrado nets fifth hat trick of 2025, Martel posts 14 saves
LORETTO, Pa. — Central Michigan Lacrosse dropped its final road nonleague contest of 2025 Monday afternoon at Saint Francis, 10-8 to conclude two-game swing through the Keystone State.
Â
Skye DePrado (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny) collected her third straight three-plus goal performance, and fourth in seven career games in her home state. She stands just two points from becoming the program's 11th player to reach 100 career points.
Â
Alexa Martel (Rochester, N.Y. / Greece Olympia) returned to double-digits in-cage with 14 saves for a 58.3 percent save rate.
Â
Jozy Allen (Cincinnati, Ohio / Sycamore) picked up six draw controls, now just three away from securing the program's single-season mark set by Anna Schoonover '19 in 2018. She and Emma Potter (Noblesville, Ind. / Noblesville) led the defense with a pair of caused turnovers each and seven combined ground balls.
Â
Sadie Hinkle (Medina, Ohio / Medina)—recently the 10th player to 100 points at CMU—and Celia Dow (Penfield, N.Y. / Penfield) joined DePrado in multi-point performances with a goal and an assist apiece.
Â
The Chippewas outscored Saint Francis, 5-2, in response to a six-goal run for the Red Flash in the first quarter, drawing back within two with under five minutes left in the third.
Â
Central Michigan Lacrosse returns to Mount Pleasant Sunday (Noon ET) to host Youngstown State in its return to MAC play for Senior Day at the CMU Lacrosse Complex. The Chippewas stick around to host Butler (April 16, 1 p.m. ET), then get 11 days to prepare for a pivotal conference regular-season finale at Detroit Mercy (April 27, 3 p.m. ET).
