
Fantastic 4: Chippewa Golfers Named All-American Scholars

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Four members of the Central Michigan women's golf team have been named a Scholar All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
The Chippewas' Hailey Katona, Brooke Morris, Rachel Niskanen and Ella Zanatta were among the 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 universities and colleges nationwide so honored.
To earn Scholar All-American status, a student-athlete must have appeared in 50 percent of her team's competitive rounds during the 2024-25 season and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
Katona has completed her collegiate eligibility, Niskanen is a sophomore, and Morris and Zanatta are freshman.
It marks the second consecutive year that Niskanen has been named a Scholar All-American.
