Gymnastics 2026 Promotional Schedule Released

Four meet home schedule packed with themes and giveaways.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Central Michigan Gymnastics has revealed its promotional schedule for the 2026 season, filling the Chippewas' home meets with theme days, giveaways and family friendly fun.
Each of CMU's four home gymnastics meets provides fans with an enriching and memorable experience for all.
A complete list of themed home events is below. All events and offerings are subject to change.
YOUTH DAY / PAJAMA DAY – vs. Western Michigan (Jan. 18 – 2 p.m.)
Wear pajamas and enjoy a Sunday afternoon out of the house and cheer on CMU in its home opener on Jan. 18! Young CMU fans can visit the professional face painter on the concourse from 1-3 p.m. While supplies last, fans will receive mini CMU teddy bears! After the meet, CMU gymnasts will sign autographs in the Kulhavi Atrium.
ALUMNI NIGHT / STUDENT APPRECIATION – vs. Illinois State (Jan. 24 – 6 p.m.)
Students are invited to pack the Snake Pit and show their maroon and gold pride! Free Snake Pit t-shirts and pizza for students will be available while supplies last. In addition, gymnastics alumni will be recognized during the meet.
PINK OUT / BREAST CANCER AWARENESS – vs. Kent State (Feb. 13 – 6 p.m.)
Wear pink and fill the stands in recognition and remembrance of CMU Gymnastics alumna Nicole Galomb. Fans will receive pink pom-poms, pink breast cancer awareness ribbon stickers and pink "10" cards. In addition, pick up CMU Gymnastics Valentine's Day cards!
SENIOR NIGHT – vs. Ball State (March 13 – 6 p.m.)
Join the program in honoring their graduating seniors! Fans will receive two-sided "10" cards with senior gymnasts on the back, as well as maroon and gold pompoms. The team will celebrate their seniors at the conclusion of the meet.
