2018: Emerged as a solid arm out of the bullpen in his freshman year, going 2-0 with a 3.82 ERA in a team-high 23 appearances, 22 of them in relief … allowed 25 hits, 14 earned runs, walked 16 and struck out 45 in 25 innings … held opposing hitters to a .205 average … led CMU with three saves … earned back-to-back wins in final two appearances of the season, both against Toledo (5/23 and 5/25) … picked up first career save at Michigan State (5/21), striking out two in one inning of work … went three innings, matching his longest outing of the season, for the save vs. Bowling Green (4/28) … posted another three-inning save vs. Ohio (5/18).
