2019: Fifth-year senior has been a mainstay and workhorse of Chippewa pitching staff is 10-1 with a 2.86 ERA … earned First Team All-MAC honors … shares the MAC lead and ranks eighth nationally in victories … tied with teammate Cam Brown in both categories … leads team with 86 strikeouts … surpassed Josh Collmenter as program’s career strikeout leader. Collmenter struck out 288 from 2005-07; Leatherman has 313 in his career … ranks second in career innings pitched with 246 2/3 … ranks fourth in program history with 25 career victories … struck out a season-high 10 vs. Villanova (3/9) in just five innings … went at least five innings in 14 of his 15 starts, and gone at least six innings seven times … did not allow a hit and struck out seven in Chippewas’ season opener at Troy (2/15) … struck out nine vs. Western Michigan (4/27) and vs. Bowling Green (5/4).

2016: Tied for the team lead and second in the MAC with 15 starts ... compiled a 3-4 record with a 3.53 ERA ... totaled 46 strikeouts in 74.0 innings pitched ... limited opposing batters to a .264 average ... won his final three starts (versus Miami [5/15], Western Michigan [5/21] and Miami [5/27]), combining to strike out 16 against three walks while compiling a 0.95 ERA.

2015: Started five games, posting a 3-0 record with a 3.00 ERA in 30.0 innings pitched ... struck out 21 against seven walks ... pitched 6.0 innings, allowing one earned run to pick up first career win, a 5-2 decision over Florida Gulf Coast (2/15) ... struck out six and allowed one earned run in 4-1 win at Wichita State (3/7).
