2021: Team’s Friday starter and veteran ace earned Second Team All-MAC honors … put together a consecutive scoreless innings streak of 41 1/3 innings, a program record … tossed the first perfect game in the 115-year history of CMU baseball in a 14-0 win over Miami (Ohio) (4/30) … matched his career high with 11 strikeouts in the seven-inning game … it was the 22nd no-hitter in program history and the first since 2003 … it was the first perfect game by a MAC pitcher since 1997 … tossed 7 2/3 inning of one-run baseball to earn the win over in-state rival in the 2021 NCAA regional in South Bend … earned the MAC Pitcher of the Week and the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week Award after his perfecto … was named the MAC Pitcher of the Week two other times: After a four-hit, seven-strikeout 1-0 win over Bowling Green (4/10) and after an 11-strikeout 10-0 win over Kent State (4/16) … hit 2.22 career ERA ranks third in program history … ranked third in the MAC in wins, fifth in ERA, fourth in innings pitched … did not surrender a run in seven of his 15 starts.
2020: Enjoyed a red-hot start to the 2020 campaign posting a 3-0 record in four starts for the Chippewas…led the team and the MAC with 0.72 ERA through 25 innings of work…held opposing batters to a team and league best .142 average…matched a team-high with 17 strikeouts…named MAC Pitcher of the Week (2/18)…logged seven innings of one-hit baseball with six strikeouts at UNLV (2/15)…worked a season-best 7 2/3 innings of shutout baseball at Jacksonville State (2/22) allowing just two hits with four punch outs.
2019: Named to the 2019 Academic All-MAC Team ... started and earned the victory in both the MAC Tournament championship game victory over Ball State (5/25) and the MAC regular-season-championship clinching victory over Miami (Ohio) (5/18) … did not allow an earned run over a combined 14 2/3 innings in those two starts … appeared in 16 games on the season, seven of them starts … became the Chippewas’ Sunday starter late in the season … finished with 4-3 record and a 3.42 ERA, which fourth best on the team … struck out 55 and walked 17 in 50 innings … also recorded two saves out of the bullpen
2018: Appeared in 42 games, making 29 starts primarily on the left side of the infield … also made seven mound appearances, all in relief … compiled a 2.25 ERA over 12 innings … allowed nine hits, three earned runs, walked six and struck out 13 … did not surrender a run in five of his seven appearances on the mound … struck out five in three innings – his longest outing of the season – vs. Oakland (4/25) … at the plate, had a season-best three hits vs. Michigan State (5/15).
