Tom Albrecht joined the Central Michigan baseball coaching staff in July 2014 as the Director of Baseball Operations.

Currently, in his second season, Albrecht handles a variety of tasks that enhances the day-to-day operation of the baseball program. Albrecht works closely with Coach Jaksa, his staff, and players with numerous responsibilities within the program, which includes among other items, liaison to community relations and baseball alumni relations, assist in fundraising and marketing promotions, and coordinates with others to promote CMU Baseball.

Albrecht serves as the CEO/Founder of the P.C.U.P.S. Foundation. P.C.U.P.S. (Prostate Cancer Understanding Prevention Screenings) Foundation was established in November 2013. This 501c3 non-profit is designed to promote men's health and wellness through sport and recreation.

P.C.U.P.S. Foundation provides funding to hospitals, research centers, and patients among other items to promote prostate cancer awareness, early detection, and screening. In May 2014, P.C.U.P.S. Foundation partnered with CMU Baseball to host the 1st Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness game.

Albrecht, a former student-athlete, earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in May 2002 and earned his Master of Art in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University in December 2014.
