Cunningham Earns MAC Honor

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University wrestler Ryan Cunningham (Middleton/Sr.) was named the Mid-American Conference "Wrestler of the Week."

Cunningham won the 174-pound title at the Keystone Classic on Nov. 21 with two falls and a 6-0 decision. Cunningham's first fall came in :16, earning him the fastest fall honors at the tournament. His second fall took :52, giving him the most falls in least amount of time at the classic, two falls in 1:08.

The Chippewas host Northwestern on Dec. 12 in Rose Arena at 2 p.m.
