Woods Named Women's Basketball HM All-MAC

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Central Michigan University senior post player Shelly Woods (Midland) was named honorable mention All-Mid-American Conference.

The 6-3 center led CMU with 13.9 points per game. She also averaged 5.4 rebounds and blocked 32 shots. Woods became the 13th player in CMU history to record 1,000 career points. She finished her career with 1,128 points, good for 10th place in Chippewa annals. Her 485 career field goals rank eighth in CMU history and 69 blocks fifth. She averaged 10.5 points per game over her career and led CMU in scoring as a senior and a sophomore.
