The Gold Rush Is On!

MOUNT PLEASANT--All Central Michigan University basketball and wrestling fans are encouraged to wear gold to Rose Arena for this year's "Gold Rush" on Saturday, Feb. 10.
Fans can enjoy a CMU sports tripleheader, highlighted by the Central Michigan-Western Michigan men's basketball game at 4:30 p.m. This huge rivalry is also an important step in CMU's march to the Mid-American Conference West Division title.
The "Gold Rush" officially begins at 1:30 p.m., when the CMU women's basketball team hosts Kent State, and concludes at 7:30 p.m., when the nationally-ranked CMU wrestling team battles Buffalo.
At the halftime of the men's game, one lucky fan will win one ounce of gold, courtesy of Rich Miller and Edward Jones Investments.
One ticket for all three events is only $8 for adults, $5 for youth and senior citizens and can be purchased in advance by calling the CMU Athletics Ticket Office at 774-3045 or toll-free at 1-888-FIRE-UP-2.
