MAC Women's Basketball Preseason Poll Released

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference Women's Basketball preseason poll was released during the conference media day Wednesday afternoon in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Central Michigan University women's team was picked to finish seventh in the West Division. Eastern Michigan was picked to win the West Division and Miami was picked to win the East Division. The poll is voted on by the MAC News Media Association.
The Chippewas kick off their season with Tri-State at home on Nov. 19.
NOTES: CMU will play three games on television this season. CMU's game with Akron on Feb. 21 is the MAC "Game of the Week." Tip-off for that game is at 8 p.m. The two other CMU games that will be televised are both on Comcast Local. They are: at Detroit on Dec. 20 at 4:30 p.m.; and CMU's conference home opener against Western Michigan on Jan. 5 at 7 p.m.
