ANN ARBOR - The Central Michigan University field hockey team suffered its first loss of the season on Friday afternoon, falling to ninth-ranked Michigan, 11-0.
The Chippewas are now 2-1 on the season and play a neutral site contest against eighth-ranked Northeastern tomorrow morning, Saturday, at 10 a.m.
CMU goalkeeper's Danielle Frank and Sarah Mancuso split time in net for CMU, both making seven saves in the loss. Kim Ferris and Erica Takach both notched a shot for the Chippewas.
