Wrestling Awards Banquet Set for April 29

MOUNT PLEASANT Central Michigan University’s wrestling program will host its annual postseason awards banquet Sunday, April 29 at Bucks Run Golf Course in Mount Pleasant.
Bucks Run is located at 1559 South Chippewa Road in Mount Pleasant.
A social gathering begins at noon, followed by lunch and awards at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
Those planning to attend the banquet are asked to RSVP by calling 989-774-3856 by Wednesday, April 25. Checks can be made out to CMU Wrestling and mailed to: CMU Wrestling Office, Rose 011, Mount Pleasant, MI, 48859.

CMU won its ninth straight Mid-American Conference title and sixth straight MAC Championships crown in 2007. Six Chippewas claimed individual conference championships, while three individuals earned All-America honors as CMU placed 15th at the NCAA Championships.
